About Us:

The Africa Australia Council (AAC) is a business and social enterprise network of like minded people working towards forging, strengthening and facilitating the bilateral trade, investment, education, art and cultural relationship between Africa and Australia.

The AAC is associated with the AABC (WA) and the Australia Africa Chamber of Commerce (VIC) to form a national alliance of organizations to drive the Africa Australia bilateral relationship.

To ethically forge, strengthen and facilitate the bi lateral trade, investment, education, art and cultural relationship between Africa and Australia.

To provide a platform to facilitate and promote the investment / business and cultural ties between Africa and Australia.

Josh Abdurahman:  founding member and past president of the AABC , current Secretary General of the AABC NSW, Exective Director Africa Australia Council  AAC.

The selfless dedication, good reputation, track record of ethical practice over the past 20 years in both Africa and Australia speaks for itself.  The AAC’s    established networks within the Australian community, the African Diaspora, African Missions and the Australian state and federal Government  holds it in good stead to ethically drive the bilateral relationship between Africa and Australia. The Africa Australia Council includes the broader areas of education, art and culture in conjunction with trade and investment.

  • The Africa Festival Hyde Park for 9 years.
  • Trade and Investment Conference Sea World .
  • Hosting high level speakers at Business Club Events.
  • Commonwealth Games promotions.
  • Close liaison with the African Missions in Canberra .
  • Meeting with visiting African diplomats.
